Kaitlin Gallant

Kaitlin Gallant is a Master’s student in political science and a Research Assistant working with Dr. Erin Tolley at Carleton University. Her research focuses on Canadian politics, particularly parliamentary institutions, gender, race, and youth representation. Her master’s research on the career trajectories of women and racialized municipal councillors is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Canada Graduate Scholarship and an Ontario Graduate Scholarship. Kaitlin graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Joint Honours Bachelor in History and Political Science. Her work has been published in Electoral Studies and Politics, Groups, and Identities.
