Vanessa Hodge

Vanessa Hodge is a doctoral student in political science at Carleton University. Her research examines official language policy in Canada and the barriers it presents for Indigenous federal workers’ (work experiences, professional opportunities, and revitalization of Indigenous languages. Vanessa’s work combines Indigenous research methods with document and policy analysis. Vanessa is the recipient of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council doctoral fellowship. She holds a graduate diploma in Indigenous Policy and Administration and a Master’s degree in Canadian Studies.
