Andrew J.A. Mattan
Andrew is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University. His dissertation examines how political actors at the local level are using social media. Andrew’s research interests include parties, elections, and digital politics. His work has been published in the American Review of Canadian Studies, Canadian Journal of Political Science, Canadian Parliamentary Review, and Representation. Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Guelph. He is the recipient of the Social Science and Humanities Research Council’s Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship at both the master’s and doctoral levels.
