Matthew Robertson is a fourth-year undergraduate student in journalism and political science at Carleton University. With an existing deep interest in politics that has been developed over the past decade, Matthew has studied a broad range of topics, including American foreign policy, Canadian domestic policy, and the history of Russia-Ukrainian relations. More recently he has become interested in the impact gender has on Canadian politics and society. He is currently writing an honours research essay focused on how Canadian populist right-wing politicians have responded to shifts in expectations of masculinity under the supervision of Dr. Erin Tolley.
